Your Mommy & Daddy

We've been married six years. We never thought we'd be so lucky to have such wonderful kids. Thank you for making us a mommy & daddy. (And driving us crazy on a daily basis. It keeps us grounded.)

Gracie Pendell Jones Diamond

Janelle Erlichman Diamond --> Allison Pendell Jones: apparently milo told ms. jamie that he is "marrying gracie." so, better be ready for a jumbo-tron proposal at our july game.

Allison Pendell Jones --> Janelle Erlichman Diamond: I just told gracie and she said, "for real?" And I said yes. And she smiled. And is now singing "gracie and milo"

Allison Pendell Jones --> Janelle Erlichman Diamond: Move over Jackson Bear..tonight at bedtime, gracie had me read Hansel and Gretle as "Milo and Gracie" and that has always been Jackson's slot!

Stickers

Milo: I love my new stickers and I love you. I love you both.

Ear Ache

On Thursday night minutes after daddy left for New Jersey you woke up crying and didn't stop until 2 AM. You thrashed, and cried, and yelled, and kicked and scratched. I tried a bottle, rocking, Pink Piggie, Benadryl, putting you on the couch, on the ground, in the pack-n-play, in your crib. Nothing. Finally I put Milo in my bed—you laid on the floor of your room and hit your little head against the floor. I scooped you up and put you in your crib and just shut the door. I didn't know what else to do. You woke up crying again at 6 and we spent a few hours on the couch downstairs. We took Milo to school, the grocery store, and music class before ending up at the doctor at 11:20 AM. We both decided that your behavior was not normal. She checked your ear—to much wax! Checked your other ear—fine. Checked your mouth—nothing to bad (for your last few teeth.) Listened to your breath. She dug out some ear wax, dug some more and more ... and finally: EAR INFECTION! Mommy was actually happy that it's something we can fix and no wonder you were in so much pain! We got our Amoxicillin and Motrin and you've been sleeping like a baby ever since.

The Things You Say

Crawling into my arms, "I want to be cozied up."
