Un-nesting

Chanukah Nights #7 & #8

Ohh man, Milo has had such a great Chanukah, I think there's going to be some present withdrawal. The last two nights Milo got some great books from G&G, Aunt Beth and mommy & daddy. Plus, a cool hook for his coat (or bathrobe), some little cars, and the Mandell's came by with some Thomas items!

Nesting

A trip to Ikea ... and suddenly all is well in the world. Mommy and daddy have reclaimed the family room!

Excellent Adventure

We love our new Phil & Ted double decker stroller. We just ordered a cocoon for the bottom level for our winter baby (thanks grandma and grandpa) and Milo seems to enjoy sitting up high. Daddy said, "Now I know what it feels like to drive a BMW."

New bedding for Milo

Grandma & poppy got Milo some new bedding for his crib!

Growth chart

Finally updated. Thanks Dif!

Rock & Roll

You keep saying this today. We don't know where you heard the expression–but it's hilarious.

Chanukah Night #6

On the sixth night of Chanukah, Diffy came over for latkes and menorah lighting. She brought Milo (and mommy & daddy) great gifts. Aunt Bobbie and Uncle Larry sent Milo these cool colorforms and mommy and daddy gave Milo "My Big Machine Book." What's going to happen when Milo doesn't get presents every night???

Chanukah Night #5

On the fifth night of Chanukah—Milo got an awesome tool kit from Marla and a digital camera from mommy & daddy.

December 25th

Our playdate plans got canceled when Milo woke up with a fever. (We had flashbacks of last Christmas when the entire Diamond family had the worst stomach virus known to man. Luckily, this is just a cold.) Instead, daddy made breakfast tacos, we watched a lot of Dora and Diego, put together our new stroller (thanks grandma and poppy!) and daddy made mommy a steak for dinner!

Christmas Eve

Marin's mommy and daddy invited us over for dinner. Marin went to bed early—but Milo got some great presents (thanks Marin, Marin's grandma and Tom Tom and Claudia at aMuse) ... he was in heaven! The best part about giving Milo presents is his reaction, "OHHHH. WOWOWOWOWOW."

Chanukah Night #4

Milo opened his presents from Aunt Beth & Coco Glenn. He got this awesome boy doll we named Hank. Milo likes to take off Hank's shoes and hat. And also wanted to change his diaper.

Expiration Date

Scary when expiration dates are after your due date.

Chanukah Night #3

On the third night–Milo got awesome presents from Anna!

Chanukah Night #2

On the second night of Chanukah—daddy make regular potato pancakes and Milo got some great gifts.

Chanukah Night #1

On the first night of Chanukah—grandma and poppy came to visit. Daddy make artichoke-feta-potato pancakes. And Milo got some great presents!

Baby D @ 37 Weeks

Hey Baby D - Three weeks and counting. Went to see Dr. Giudice yesterday. Waited very patiently (11:15 appointment—got seen at 12:30), but it was worth it to hear that heartbeat (140.) He said mommy was measuring perfectly and everything down there seemed to be still in one piece, so to speak. That makes me very happy. I'd like you to be a 2009 baby. Last night, while daddy was bathing your brother you were moving around like crazy. At one point it felt like you were going to come right out of mommy's belly. It must be getting tight in there—but your lease isn't up yet.
