Parent/Teacher Conference Day

Last Friday school was closed and we met with Miss. Marcia and Miss. Meg to talk about you. You hung out with Marin—and Willa came with us. Even though you are only 3—it still made mommy nervous sitting across from two of your teachers! But we got (mostly) rave reviews. You are doing a little better on the potty. You've had some good weeks where you stay dry until they put you on the potty and you can pull down your own pants and underwear. We need to get better at home about forcing you on the potty every 30 minutes. Of course if we ask you say no. Because, well, you'd always rather play. You enjoy alone time at school—working on a task with any interruption. While Marin is your best buddy you do love the boys. They said toy time = boy time. No girls allowed. You love to color but hate getting paint on your hands. You are speaking in full sentences. Your stutter seems to be under control. You can be crazy shy. You hate being the center of attention but love being the "example." Miss. Marcia called it the "star student." They use you to show everyone how to: roll up their mats, put away their toys, etc. You can pick your name out. And have made a ton of improvement since you started at school back in April. You are very polite. And perhaps most surprising: Ask for seconds at lunch.
