Willa @ 8 Months

Ohh my girl. You are such a wonderful, wonderful baby. So, happy. Smiley. And loud. You love to make loud noises and flail your arms or beat your chest. It makes everyone laugh. You are eating lots of baby food ... oatmeal and brown rice cereal, squash, apple strawberry, sweet potato, pears, applesauce ... And lots of bottles. We have slowed down on the breastfeeding (twice a day) ... but I'm so happy we lasted this long. You are excellent at sitting .. and you love to play with all your toys. You still love to jump more than anything in the world. You love your office. Anna says you love to play by yourself. You spend three days with Anna and mommy gets you for two days. I love watching your face and how it lights up when you see your brother. You love your brother more than life itself. And he loves to feed you and hold you and call you "Willa Bear." You love to watch him and listen to what he is saying. He is good at keeping you distracted when you are upset. When I tell him to tell you jokes he says, "Joke, Willa Bear." You need to work on sleeping through the night. You've had a few issues—eczema, viral rash, horrible diaper rash, whatever your brother has. Like your brother you have not latched onto any lovey ... but I have hope. You still have your crew of friends ... Cate lives around the corner. And of course Jane. You continue to amaze us every month.
