18 months

Milo, today was your 18 month appointment. We were in the South Africa room (though Greece is my favorite). Dr. Winklestein was very impressed by everything you are doing and saying these days. You did great despite the fact that you fell asleep in the car and awoke to mommy undressing you and a strange woman measuring your head. Cheerios helped.

Your stats: 25 lbs. 1oz // 32 inches long // 47.2 big head

Some bad news: You have to lose the bottle. "Cold turkey" she said. And next comes the pacifier.

Good news: You are right on track with everything else. Including almost all your teeth, except the "2 year" molars.

We counted about 15 words you can say: dog, duck, nose, bike, momma, dadda, ba ba, sock, shoe, more, banana, aya (Anna), bubbles, no, uhh-ohhh, plus some animal noises.

Dr. W said we come back for 24 months. Though knowing your "no fear" mantra she said "I might see you sooner."
