Milo Goes to School

It's official. Milo will start school in April. After lots of stressful nights, and getting wait listed at a few different nursery schools, we got into the Baltimore Montessori School at Locust Point! It is so freaking cute: white lockers lining the hallway, cute classrooms, a light filled lunchroom, fenced in backyard. Right across the street from a park. (The Montessori curriculum includes Practical Life, Sensorial, Math, Language and Culture. Plus, Spanish as a second language, music, art, cooking, sand and water activities, an outdoor playground and gymnastics.) And Marin will be going to the same school. They will even share a locker. As Milo says, "I go school with Marin." Later that night after our tour, as Ron was telling Milo all about the school, he looked at Ron and said, "Daddy, I so happy." Makes my heart happy. Even though I get a little weepy thinking about my baby starting school.
