Blahh Blahh & Pink Piggie
Your lovies. Milo has slowly come around to his sock monkey which was originally named Noodle and renamed Blahh Blahh and born in Rehoboth Beach. Now you say, "Mommy, I love Blahh Blahh." Willa has had Pink Piggie from birth (a gift from the Dove's) but the infatuation only began a month or two ago. PP always makes you laugh. Our favorite game is "Where's Pink Pigggiiieeeeeee????" At which point we pull him out and you squeal with delight. The other day I was washing PP (he had become quite disgusting) and as you went down for your nap you were looking for him under your blankets. It was so sweet.

Celebrating One
Our best girl. We wanted your first birthday to be super special. So, we invited all your friends (and our friends and Milo's friends) and let them invade our house for six hours. We had so much fun. You napped a couple of times, ate your birthday cake, and wore your tutu. Daddy was in charge of the food (white chicken chili, Ceasar salad, snacks), mommy did the decorations, and Milo opened your presents. Aunt Beth flew all the way in from Austin and we had over 50 people helping us celebrate our big girl!
Poop
Banana
I haven't seen you eat a banana since you were like 6 months and it was pureed! Well, tonight I offer Willa a banana and you insist you want a banana too. So, I cut it in half. Willa demolishes hers (of course) and you eat yours too. I will never figure you out.

Marin
One of the biggest changes has been Marin. The two of you have been moved to different classrooms. So far it doesn't seem to phase either of you at all. You still see each other in the morning and evening rides home. Tonight the two of you had a very intense coversation about monster trucks.
Ms. Carolyn
On your first day back (Monday) you headed to your new classroom. Your big boy classroom—with Ms. Carolyn, Ms. Jamie, and Ms. Holly. There are new toys and new activities. Some old friends (Gracie, Max, Jackson, Jaxyn) and some new ones (Penelope, Stella) ... Ms. Carolyn says you are having a great first week. You are enjoying individual play and naptime. (She had to wake you on Monday.) Plus, you love all the new toys. We learned you eat lunch in your classroom ... but that doesn't seem to phase you. And you've had no accidents at all this week. A big boy, indeed.
Your Relationship With Each Other
Ohh man, there is no better way to make mommy happy than seeing her kiddies interact with each other. Willa adores you. You are an AWESOME big brother. You protect her (like throwing yourself on her when she's heading toward the stairs) and share with her. (Sometimes. Like tonight with celery.) She watches your every move. Ms. Jamie says the other day she was reading a story about babies and you said,"I love my sister Willa soooo much."
